St Michael

Cudworth Ilminster

http://winsmoor.blogspot.com/

We normally have a service on the 1st and 3rd Sunday at 11.15, the first being Communion, the latter Morning Prayer.
We are a small friendly congregation of about 10 on average, the atmosphere being informal but reverent. These days most of us come from the surrounding area, no longer from the hamlet. The church is simple and beautiful, partly dating from the 13th century, with a Norman door. The churchyard is wildlife-friendly and kept short by sheep. Behind the church on private land lies what was once a medieval fispond and one of Somerset's best moats.
